Ashtabula Harbor Dec. 20/1913 Dear Mabel: Well the Paine got here last night, and the old man came back this morning, and said that they were going to live on the Paine when she got along side of us. But she is going to load coal first so it may be a couple of days before I get home. But I sure will be home for Xmas dinner believe me. You need not answer this letter for I may be gone from here by that time. I suppose you’ll be glad now, won’t you dear? Well I will try and bring home something but I haven’t much room. I got two grips but I think my clothes will take up most of the room. Well dear I am writing this in a hurry, so will close for this time. Will write again before I come. Your loving Hubby, Geo. | |
