Abstract | Flier for a performance of Groovemaster - Dry Dock on November 19th, 1988. Groovemaster - Bowling Green, Ohio reggae group (1987-1991). Members include Damon Arterbridge, Linda Gurney, Jose Luna (also of Satan Tortilla), Bruce MacLaughlin, Don Morrow, Mike Nemeth, Gaylord Richardson, and Julie Richardson. Dry Dock - A BGSU student organization and nautical themed meeting space located in the basement of Harshman Residence Hall (demolished in 2018), established in the mid-1980s to provide an alternative to alcohol-based events on campus. Its founding coincides in part with the 1987 raising of the drinking age to 21. |
