On this and the three succeeding pages are pitures and short, short biographies of twnety-one ment. They are all Republicans; and each is at least within striking distance of the Republican nomination for President of these United States. Each has been noinated by friends and supporters for the Presidential Derby to be held in Philadelphia beginning June 24, 1940. All protrayed on these pages do not admit themselves covetous of the prize. Yet, it is believed, non would refuse were it suddenly thrust his way. Bt here they are, ladies and gentlemen, as they go to the post. To help you place your bets, we have had our ace politcal railbird and handicapper, Junius III, rate their chances with the following symbols:
