Abstract | Groovemaster member Mike Nemeth and guitarist Brian O'Donnell at Howard's Club H posing with Eddie 'Vaan' Shaw Jr, during a free jam. From Left to Right: Eddie 'Vaan' Shaw Jr, Mike Nemeth, and Brian O'Donnell. Eddie "Vaan" Shaw Jr. (born November 6, 1955), son of Chicago blues tenor saxophonist and member of Howlin' Wolf's band, the Wolf Gang, Eddie Shaw. Vaan was also a sometimes member of the Wolf Gang, and is known for using a unique three-neck Fender guitar. Groovemaster - Bowling Green, Ohio reggae group (1987-1991). Members include Damon Arterbridge, Linda Gurney, Jose Luna, Bruce MacLaughlin, Don Morrow, Mike Nemeth, Gaylord Richardson, and Julie Richardson. Howards Club H - Howard's Club H was established by Fred H. Howard in 1928 in the 200 block of North Main Street in Bowling Green, Ohio, as Howard's Confectionary Store and acquired a liquor license after prohibition was lifted. Howard sold the business in 1938 and became the mayor of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Howard's Club H moved across the street in 1973, for the construction of the Wood County District Public Library, where it is currently operating. |
