Abstract | Flier for the Black Swamp Arts Festival Local Music Stage at Howard's Club H in Bowling Green, Ohio on September 9th and 10th, 2000 featuring Aloha, Stylex, The Orgones, Lovesick, $10 Typewriter, Treysuno, Whitey, DJ Dub, The Unexpected, Katan Klub, Rancid Yak Butter Tea Party, and 3/4 Tank. The Black Swamp Arts Festival began in Bowling Green, Ohio in 1993, and by 1998 had expanded to include bands from the local scene. Aloha - Bowling Green, Ohio (2000s). Members: Matt Gengler, Tony Cavallario. The Orgones Bowling Green, Ohio (1999-2002). Members: Damion Hentschel, guitar, vocals; Ron Werdebaugh, guitar, vocals; Rich Weaver (until 2001), bass; Phil Dickinson, drums. Albums: Into the Vegetative Realm (CDR 2000); Dodge Pond (CDR 2001) Katan Klub - Early 2000s Lima, Ohio, Glam Rock band. Howards Club H - Howard's Club H was established by Fred H. Howard in 1928 in the 200 block of North Main Street in Bowling Green, Ohio, as Howard's Confectionary Store and acquired a liquor license after prohibition was lifted. Howard sold the business in 1938 and became the mayor of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Howard's Club H moved across the street in 1973, for the construction of the Wood County District Public Library, where it is currently operating. |
