Included are his stories of shipping over to England, flying missions over Germany in a B-17 bomber for the 306th Army Air Corp Bomb Group, and being shot down and taken as a prisoner of war in Germany. Recorded in the fall of 2002 for Dr. Walter Grunden's World War II history course in the Department of History at Bowling Green State University. Interview conducted by Matt Waechter. Closed captions are included, as is a photograph of Kessler taken during the war. |
