Description	The construction of the Industrial Education and Technology Building in 1973 signaled a number of developments on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The building's large number of classrooms, labs, and offices would provide additional space for the burgeoning scientific community at BGSU. The new facilities' devotion to technology would signal the first increase in, and effort toward, improvement of technological education at the University. Bowling Green State University has always sought to maintain a position on the cutting edge of scholarship and the construction of this building was movement in this direction. The building has remained a top priority of the administration and improvements and enlargement of the building have ensured its place among the best facilities of its kind in the state of Ohio. Listed below are additional highlights in the history of the building: 1969, Board of Trustees approves plans for the construction of an Industrial Education and Technology Building. 1973, construction completed at a final cost of $2.2 million. 1973, seminar rooms officially dedicated as the Leon L. Winslow, Carl C. Powell, Daniel J. Crowley, and Ronald M. Torgerson Seminar Rooms respectively. 1987, roof replaced at a final cost of $200,000. 1994, renovation completed of Technology Building's Microcomputer Lab Room. Improvements included recarpeting, repainting, new furniture, new entrance on second floor, IBM/MAC seminar rooms, design seminar room, CAT stations.
