Tasham descibes his service with the U.S. Army Air Corp working as an aircraft and radio machinist in the European and Pacific theaters, specifically in Burma. Sylvia Miller describes her experience working as a riveter on the U.S. home front, while Alvin Miller describes his experience serving as a B-17 crewman operating in the European theater during the war. Recorded in the fall of 2003 for Dr. Walter Grunden's World War II history course in the Department of History at Bowling Green State University. Interview conducted by Jennifer Friedler. An associated transcript is included, as are photographs of Hyman Tasham and Alvin Miller taken during the war. |
