To celebrate the 25th Latino/a/x Issues Conference we have launched a special digital exhibition, entitled, “25 Years of the Latino/a/x Issues Conference at BGSU,” to showcase the history of the conference.  

 Beginning in the summer of 2019, we have worked with the Center for Archival Collections (CAC) and the BGSU Libraries to find, scan, and save materials related to the conference for posterity.  

 While the digital exhibit “25 Years of the Latino/a/x Issues Conference at BGSU” is a limited look at the wealth of materials we are archiving, we wanted to ensure that conference attendees, alumni, and past presenters had the opportunity to share in the vibrant history of the Latino/a/x Issues Conference by looking through posters, programs, pictures, news coverage, and other documents related to the event from 1995 to 2020.  

In archiving the history of the conference, we hope to actively preserve Latino/a/x voices at BGSU and enter the incredible contributions made by activists, presenters, scholars, students, faculty and staff into the archival record of the university to save for years to come.
