Description | During the 1990s, the University administration made the incorporation of modern technology in the classroom a top priority. A national trend in this regard emerged as steady improvements in technology specifically designed for educational purposes spread throughout America's universities. The construction of Olscamp Hall was Bowling Green State University's attempt to bring technology into the classrooms on this campus. Administrators intended for the building to provide modern facilities for regular classroom instruction as well as equipment capable of providing long-distance learning, computer integration, and multimedia effects. Ultimately, Olscamp Hall would achieve this goal and currently is the centerpiece of classroom instruction on campus. Listed below are additional highlights in the history of the building:
