This digital collection features letters from the Dwight R. Yates papers (MMS-1805), which date from 1898-1964 and contain the personal letters and military service papers of a private from West Millgrove, Ohio who served with Co.D, 6th Ohio Volunteer Infantry in Cuba during the Spanish-American War, with additional service in the Philippines with Co. K, 5th U.S. Infantry.
